Edmontone Studio is a full-service professional recording studio located in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Since 2007, Edmontone has strived to be one of the premiere music recording and production studios in town. After a recent renovation, we now feature the latest, most freshest, analog to digital converters, monitors, computer, and digital control technologies in the city. Coupled with our fantastic collection of professional grade microphones and the exceptional acoustics of our space, we strive to continue to provide artists with the most professional results from the most comfortable surroundings.

We specialize in helping original artists acheive their goals of professional production of their music. From pre-production, working with artists to ensure that they and their material are ready for the microphone, to the final stages of mastering to ensure that their finished work meets the standards for broadcast, manufacture or simply listening enjoyment, our experienced, creative and open-minded staff is here to help steer your project from a dream to an impressive finished product. RECORDING

Let our qualified audio engineers set up and operate our professional grade equipment in our finely-tuned acoustic space so you can focus on making your music.

MIXING

Whether your record with us, or want to showcase your home studio recordings in the best-possible light, our careful and creative mix engineers can help your music sound the way it should, while fitting in AND standing out on radio, streaming, television or wherever it belongs.

PRE-PRODUCTION

A step often overlooked by aspiring artists, but never overlooked by the big ones is Pre-Production. Let our team of Producers, Arrangers, and local music industry networkers help you finish writing your song, designing your sound, or choosing and hiring session players to bring your ideas from dream to reality.

MASTERING

This final stage in the recording process ensures your songs are ready for broadcast or to be pressed into vinyl, CD, K7, or etched on a gold platter and launched beyond the solar system.

BEATS

Please note we only work with artists who use legal beats. If you purchase or lease a beat online, we will need to see documentation. We cannot work with illegally downloaded or copied beats. Visit sites like Airbit or Beatstars for beats you can legally lease or purchase.

EVENTS & PROMOTION

What do you do after your recording is done? How do you release it to the world or simply celebrate your acheivement with a public event? With years of professional and volunteer experience putting on events, from intimate artsy ones to massive ones with by VIPs, for entities like the Metro Cinema (as their President) or the University of Alberta (with her day job) Jennifer will help you put on a successful release that is tailored to your unique style and goals. RATES

Our standard rate for all services is $75 per hour, up to a maximum of $500 for an 8hr day, plus GST. We accept credit cards, cash or e-transfer. If you would like to use a credit card to pay, please note a 3% fee will be added.

There is a two hour booking minimum for recording and mixing sessions.

Composition, arrangement and preproduction rates are different, and negotiable.

All studio sessions require a 50% downpayment before the studio is officialy booked.

Deposits are only refunded if the session is cancelled at least 15 days before the scheduled date.

No files or media will be released until the full payment is made.
