OUR TEAM

Our team-based approach, featuring three recording engineers and one business manager allows our creative talent to focus on what really matters: helping our clients make their music and creativity come to life.

JENNIFER JENKINS

STUDIO MANAGER

Jenn is a huge fan of music. She brings this passion, and years of experience overseeing arts organizations (she was previously President of the Metro Cinema Society) and organizing arts events for the University of Alberta to make sure Edmontone operates smoothly. A gregarious personality, Jenn loves interacting with the community of musicians, producers, composers, engineers, and others who use Edmontone.3

ADAM STARK

PRODUCER, ENGINEER, COMPOSER, ARRANGER, PROGRAMMER, TECHNICIAN

Adam is a recording engineer (and real engineer) par excellence. He specializes in multitracking large sessions with many players, as well as layering overdubs in a more studio-based setting. He constantly tinkers experiments with new approaches to the recording process and new ways to use recording and music technologies for the most user-friendly and sonically satisfying experiences imaginable.

TREVOR ROCKWELL

PRODUCER, ENGINEER, COMPOSER, ARRANGER, PROGRAMMER

Trevor is a MacEwan Music Recording Program grad who has worked with artists as diverse as the Corb Lund Band, Great Big Sea, Super Friendz, The Naked And The Dead, and Amritha Vaz in a long and varied career in many recording studios across Canada. An accomplished producer, engineer, programmer, composer. arranger, performer, and session musician, Trevor has successfully coaxed the musical spirit from many forms of analogue and digital music technology, and is a mixing wizard with many tricks up his sleeve. His recordings have been featured on radio worldwide, even played on rotation in the Frankfurt airport during the Athens Olympics.

EMILY BACHYNSKI

ENGINEER, PRODUCER

Emily literally tripped into her career as a sound engineer at the age of twenty-one. After stumbling into the sound booth at a local venue, she has been working non-stop as a live sound engineer, owner and operator of Bitter North Studios, and a producer. Spending most of her early career as a touring engineer, she has taken the last couple years to make music of her own (Bad Buddy, Bitters), and focus on the production side of the business. Bachynski is sought after for her vintage twist on modern music, drawing inspiration from 60s recording techniques. Bachynski is about performance over perfection, lives for a good hang, and is still in Edmonton.

SESSION MUSICIANS

Both Trevor and Adam are multi-instrumentalists. Trevor has played live and on record for many projects on vocals, guitars, keys, bass, drums, horns, strings, and ... well you get the picture. A MacEwan piano and recording grad Trevor has played all of the instruments on his many solo records. He reads and writes music and has arranged charts professionally for projects both large and small.

Adam is an accomplished live and session drummer, guitarist, and vocalist. He has drummed for Luke Doucet, Thea Vs. Loki, Mustard Smile, Hector Fector, Stark Martin, and many others, and currently beats the skins for The Confusionaires and Choir And Marching Band. If you ask he'll tell you he specializes in two kinds of music: rock AND roll.

We have extensive connections throughout the Edmonton music community and beyond, and can assemble an excellent and accomplished session band that is right for your project.
